I am currently running the latest Xastir in VMWare using the latest
Mepis Linux as a base. In fact, it is also running my JavAPRSServer
digi/i-gate too. It compiled up fine and I have had no problems with
Xastir and Mepis for the last couple of years (updating both from time
to time).
